Try reinstalling the network adapter and so going into it's device manager backdrop and disabling it'south "wake on lan" and also it's "let the computer to turn this device off" features.

I'd also encounter if there is a newer device commuter available for it on the motherboard product page.

What is your BIOS version? If it's older than version 4003 I'd suggest you install the latest version which tin can be downloaded at the following link. Restart problems are not uncommon with buggy BIOS versions and that motherboard has had a pretty off-white number of arrangement stability BIOS updates so it'southward highly likely updating to a newer version volition end your troubles. If yous already accept version 4003 I'd suggest unplugging the power supply from the wall, removing the CMOS bombardment and pressing the power push for thirty seconds and so reinstall the CMOS battery, plug the unit dorsum in and restart the organisation to exam it out. You may need to reset your BIOS settings if you've changed any from the default values previously.

I'm not sure what you lot mean by removed the bombardment and "cleaned" the bios.

So you updated to the newest BIOS version, restarted after updating, and the trouble was still happening?

And then then you unplugged the unit of measurement from power, removed the cmos battery, pressed the ability button for 30 seconds, reinstalled the cmos battery, plugged the unit dorsum into the wall and the computer won't power on at present?

Did you mean "cleared" the bios?

Where on the motherboard is the cherry-red light and is it flashing or solid?

sorry for my earlier mail the pc was not starting up because the rams are not set properly,at present its ok pc is starting up properly but still when i try to close-downward information technology restarts after three/4 second.

I already updated the bios .
reset the bios
reinstalled the OS.
unchecked wake upwards on lan or whatever usb device
nothing worked.
now whenever I have to shut-down the pc I have to switch off the power supply from the back .
When always I switch on the back psu switch ite pc starts I dont have to press the power push button.

What is the model number and brand of your ability supply? This is probably either a faulty or cheap PSU issue or a problem with the motherboard.

Well, that's a pretty darn proficient PSU and so it'southward possible it's the PSU, but information technology's a lot less probable than if you lot had a cheapo model.

Try booting into Safe style and see if it will shut downwards normally from safe mode. To admission safe mode power on the computer and press F8 until the advanced boot menu appears and cull safety mode. Once in rubber style, let the desktop to fully load and then choose shut down. If it shuts down commonly five or six times similar this then we know it's a software issue and non hardware.

Endeavour disconnecting the two wires coming from the forepart power push button of the case to the motherboard and then briefly touching those two pin together (Non the wires, the pins the wires were on) on the motherboard to start the unit up and then attempt to shut down one time you're fully in windows to encounter if maybe at that place is a problem with the front ability switch that's causing the issue.

No, I didn't want you to shut it downward that style, merely start information technology that way. Shut downwards normally from windows.

You lot know, simply for giggles, get into Control panel power options, on the left side click on "cull what the power buttons practice" and make sure that it's fix to "when I printing the power push button"="close down" and "when I press the slumber push=slumber. I don't think information technology's related but simply make certain.

If none of that works, reconnect the wires from the front console and try this:

This could be down to the AutoReboot setting kick in.

1. Click Kickoff > Run and type REGEDIT

2. Click the plus sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
then System
and then CurrenControlSet
and so Control
then CrashControl

iii. Double-click on AutoReboot on the right side panel and modify the value from 1 to 0.

Shut regedit and restart the figurer. Now the figurer should shut downwards commonly instead of restarting.

Auto reboot value is 0 I changed information technology to i nothing happened.

No, you want information technology to be 0. If it was already 0 then that wasn't the problem. I'd change it back to 0 or we'll never figure it out. I've got to go take care of some service calls but I'll try to assist figure this out some more when I get back later.

Are you shutting down by clicking shut downwards on the starting time menu or are you using the power push to shut downward? Attempt pressing the power push button until the unit shuts down and see if it however restarts. Afterwards you reset that value to 0 of course.

Try reinstalling the network adapter and then going into it's device manager properties and disabling it'due south "wake on lan" and also information technology's "let the reckoner to plow this device off" features.

I'd also meet if in that location is a newer device driver bachelor for information technology on the motherboard product folio.
